6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Every Wednesday from September 14 to October 26th. Then we will break for the holidays in November and December and resume in January.
6:00 P.M. – FREE COMMUNITY MEAL AND FELLOWSHIP
7:00 P.M. – BIBLE STUDY FOR ALL AGES
The whole family will be learning the same lesson and scriptures (age appropriately) to create a space for dialogue when you get home. Ask your little ones what they learned and talk about the scripture or lesson together.
Bible Bugs Nursery
Our nursery is staffed each night for our youngest friends. Those that are Newborn to age 4 (or who have not started school)
We have two adults in there each night who love to snuggle, play and read stories! Please bring a diaper bag if necessary and don't forget to sign your little ones in and out each night. Their safety is of utmost importance.
Preschool to 2nd Grade
Children who have just begun school up until 2nd grade are in our youngest learners class. They will have a great time watching a video that goes with our scripture for the evening, hearing the Bible story, singing songs, doing a craft and playing a game that goes with the message. Everything will be tailored to be age appropriate.
3rd Grade to 5th Grade
Children who have completed 2nd grade up until their 5th grade year are in our 3-5 group. They will have a great time watching a video that goes with our scripture for the evening, hearing the Bible story, singing songs, doing a craft and playing a game that goes with the message. Everything will be tailored to be age appropriate.
This is the time when youth group meets in a formal setting to discuss the scripture and message. Our youth group also meets on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 for fellowship and service projects. The youth group on Wednesday nights will start out upstairs in the sanctuary for a time of praise and worship, then will gather in the youth room for discussion and study.
Adults are encouraged to not just drop their young ones off for study, but to stay and study with the adult group. The adult group will be studying the same scripture and lesson as the young ones (don't worry, you don't have to sing songs, watch Veggie Tales and do a craft) by studying the same scriptures as the rest of the family, this creates a space for the adults to be able to ask questions of the young ones about what they are learning and having just gone over it themselves, they can talk about what the scripture means for their family.
In November we will not have Wednesday meal and Bible study as it is such a busy time in the church and in families in preparation for the holidays. There will be take home packets that you are encouraged to discuss with your families as an “at home study”
In December we will not have Wednesday meal and Bible study. There are lots of other activities to get involved in though!
